Adjustable Air Bed FAQ

Q: Can I use my existing bed and box spring?

A: The mattress needs a firm flat surface for the proper support not one with the give of springs found in a typical box spring. We recommend that you order a foundation from us to ensure that your new bed has the proper support. This will make sure that your bed contours completely to your body and not to any soft spots found in box springs. If you have a new box spring that is in good condition you can purchase ¾ inch plywood from your local hardware store to place on top of it to achieve the same firm flat surface.

Q: How can you sell your airbeds so much lower than my local store?

A: There are basically two reasons why we can sell so much lower. We specialize in having the best and most informative airbed online shopping center, therefore this has allowed us to sell more airbeds online than any other online store and work with a much smaller profit margin than your local store can. Secondly, we have very little overhead on our web-site. There are no light bills, water bills, or salesmen commission to worry about. In essence, there is a great deal less work involved. In retail stores they can and will sell for a higher profit dollar because of their overhead.

Q: The mattress I get will be Brand New, won't it?

A: OF COURSE!! All the mattresses we sell are top quality and of course BRAND NEW. We ship all of our mattresses directly from the manufacturer. Because we offer a 90 Day Rest Test, we sometimes get returned beds, however that is very seldom. If a bed is returned, it comes to us and not the manufacturer. If you are interested in a refurbished bed please contact us.

Q: Do you accept all major credit cards?

A: We accept every major credit card which includes the following: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You can also make payment by check or money-order by mailing it to:

5475 W. Sam Houston Pkwy N.
Houston, TX 77041

Q: How many days before my mattress will arrive?

A: Because we want you to start enjoying your new airbed system as soon as possible, we will normally have the bed shipped within five to six business days. Sometimes, the shipping department is overloaded with orders which may cause your shipment to be delayed a day or two. Customers usually have their entire order within 10 - 12 business days, it is usually sooner but we like to be on the safe side when dealing with FedEx and freight companies. When placing your order, we will be glad to give you the approximate day your bed should ship. Unlike most companies, whether you are east coast or west coast you will receive the air mattress just as quickly.

Q: Can we use your bed as a waterbed replacement?

A: Of course you can. Depending on the dimensions, our air chambers should fit with your waterbed. If you are unsure, simply give us a call at 877-SLEEP-70 with your dimensions handy, and we will make sure that our mattresses can be used in your waterbed frame.

Q: What is the difference between E. King, Cal King and Split King?

A: E. King is the standard king size bed which measures 76 x 80 inches. Cal King is longer and narrower than the standard E. King and measures 72 x 84 inches. Split king is 2 twin XL beds- and is normally made for the split king adjustable frame.

Q: How long will it take me to set it up?

A: Our airbed mattresses are very easy to set up normally taking between 15 to 25 minutes. The instruction packet comes with the mattress and can be found in the box in a plastic bag with the warranty card.

Q: Where does the pump go?

A: With most normal beds you can place the pump under your bed near the headboard. If you are placing your airbed mattress on a platform bed, the pump can be placed in the vacant area between the sets of drawers. If the drawers meet in the middle, there should be enough space between the drawer unit and the wall for the air pump. The pump is small, 6" tall - 6" wide - 12" long.

Q: Will normal sheets work on my new airbed?

A: Yes, normal sheets will work on your airbed mattress. It is best if you make sure that the pocket on your sheets are the correct depth of the mattress. If you choose to order an air mattress from us 11 inches, or more, in thickness then you might want to consider using deep-pocket sheets which are easy to find and usually cost only a couple dollars more that regular sheets.

Q: Do I need to be home to receive the mattress?

A: We suggest that someone be there to receive your new mattress. If you work all day, we can have UPS deliver the package to your work if you so desire.

Q: I can't pop the mattress, can I?

A: No, you cannot overfill the mattress. The Vulcanized Latex Chambers can withstand a great deal more pressure than the air pump is designed to produce. When the mattress gets to its firmed position, the pump will not be able to place any more air in the chamber. You also don't need to worry about any animals or children putting a hole in the mattress. Basically, the only way to pop the mattress would be to stab it with a knife.

Q: I'm ready to order, what do I do now?

A: We offer a couple of easy ways to order. We have a secure online ordering catalog and shopping cart, or you can call us toll-free at 1-877-SLEEP-70 24--Hours a Day!
